Nora Lutheran Church Turning 150

GARDNER, ND—A church in rural Gardner, North Dakota will be celebrating its 150th birthday next weekend. Nora Lutheran Church will mark the occasion Sunday, June 23rd with a 10am service, followed by a catered lunch at 11 and then a program at 1pm featuring guest speakers, including former pastors.  Doug Rensvold, a long-time member of Nora Lutheran Church says the current church building isn’t the only building the church has had.

When Rensvold says he’s a long-time member of the church, he’s not kidding.

Nora Lutheran Church is located at 1806 172nd Avenue SE in Gardner.  The church’s 150th celebration starts at 10am this coming Sunday.
