Supper with a Farmer a success

The Norman County Soybean/Corn Growers and Norman County Farm Bureau hosted a Supper With A Farmer event at the Norman County Fairgrounds in Ada on Tuesday night. It was an opportunity for everyone to enjoy a free meal featuring products grown locally, and a chance for attendees to talk with area farmers and have any questions answered.

Corey Hanson with the Norman County Soybean/Corn Growers explains the importance of being able to educate and share information about the farming industry.

Michael Kitchell with the Norman County Farm Bureau says that, with the ever-changing landscape of agriculture, it’s a good opportunity to keep the public updated on those changes.

Whitney Pittman Visser with Norman County Farm Bureau says this event helps to highlight how farmers and community members work hand-in-hand.
