Midway/Minto vs Hillsboro Central Valley

Hillsboro-Central Valley improved to 7-0 in Region 2 competition Tuesday with a 3 sets to none victory over Midway-Minto at Central Valley.  The scores were 25-10, 25-23 and 25-16.

The Burros (20-7, 7-0) got strong play from both middle hitters, with Carsi Hatlestad getting 17 kills and 1.5 blocks and Haley Smelden adding 11 kills, a block and a service ace.

Madyson Korynta led Midway-Minto (3-11, 2-10) with 6 kills and an ace.

Both teams return to action Thursday, with HCV traveling to Larimore and Midway-Minto hosting Hatton-Northwood.
