Ada HS First Wrestling Coach To Be Enshrined In MN Wrestling Coaches Hall Of Fame

The man who started the wrestling program at Ada High School will be inducted into the Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon in Crookston.  Ardell Knudsvig started Ada’s wrestling program in 1960 and coached the Vikings until 1975.  

Another inductee on Sunday will be Gary Brantl, who began the wrestling program in Plummer in 1972 and was head coach until 1996.

The Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be from 1 until 3pm at the Crookston Inn and Convention Center.  The ceremony will be free will offering.
