The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds used a 2nd half surge to get the win over Lake Park Audubon 39-14.  THe 2 teams exchanged scores in the first half with Mahnomen Waubun using the ground attack while the Raiders went to more of an air attack.  At the half it was a close contest with Mahnomen Waubun leading 19-14.  The 2nd half would start with the Raiders driving, but an interception would give the Thunderbirds the ball in which they would go on to score which would be the 1st of 3 scores in the 2nd half to pull away and go on for the win.  Mahnomen Waubun is now 7-0 while LPA falls to 2-5.
