VB Fosston 0 at Roseau 3 (25-11, 25-20, 25-22)

The Roseau Rams used a balanced attack to defeat the Fosston Greyhounds 3-0 Tuesday night in Roseau. Seven players had at least one kill for Roseau as they improve to 7-4 overall. Aubrey Eeg and Chavelle Knochenmus each had 5 kills and Anna Ulvin and Maryn Byfuglien each had 4 kills for Roseau. Lexi Mahlen led the Greyhounds with 13 kills as Fosston falls to 5-5 overall. Ava Hayes added 5 kills for the Greyhounds. The second set was the closest with 8 ties but Roseau closed it by scoring six of the final seven points in the set. Roseau won the “B” Squad match 2-1 and the Rams also won the “C” Squad match 2-1. Fosston will return to action on Thursday, September 19th when they travel to Ada-Borup-West (106.5 FM & Your Live Event). Roseau will also return to the court on Thursday, September 19th when they travel to East Grand Forks to face the Green Wave in a Section 8AA match.
