The Lake Park-Audubon Raiders outscored the Fosston Greyhounds 32-15 in the second half enroute to the 57-36 win Friday night in Fosston. Kendra Nelson scored 18 points and Taylor Schauer added 14 points as the Raiders won their fifth straight game and improved to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. The Raiders shot 16 of 21 at the free throw line and their aggressive defense forced 32 Fosston turnovers. Brielle Duppong led Fosston with 13 points as the Greyhounds fall to 3-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference. Lexi Mahlen scored 9 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for Fosston. Lake Park-Audubon led 25-21 at halftime and the score was tied at 27-27 early in the second half before the Raiders took the lead for good at 30-27. Lake Park-Audubon won the “B” Squad game over Fosston 37-29. The Greyhounds will return to action on Monday, December 16th when they travel to Oklee to battle the Red Lake County Central Mustangs (1480-AM/99.7 FM). The Raiders are off until Thursday, December 19th when they host the Underwood Rockets.
