East Grand Forks, MN — The East Grand Forks Sacred Heart Eagles beat the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons on Monday night 54-34.

An early run to begin the game for the Eagles put them in front 13-4 and Fertile-Beltrami could never overcome that deficit. The lead in the second half was as much as 21 points for the Eagles. Fertile-Beltrami would make a mini run to make the deficit 16 but Sacred Heart would regroup out of a timeout and eventually win by 20 points 54-34.

Sacred Heart with the win is now 4-1 and will play in a tournament on Friday that they will host. Fertile-Beltrami falls to 4-4 and will play Bagley tomorrow.
