Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons beat the Bagley Flyers in a Section 8A and Pine to Prairie Conference Girls Basketball Game on Tuesday night.

Fertile-Beltrami was able to put Bagley behind the eight ball early scoring the first 16 points of the game and take control of the first half leading at the break 4016. In the second half the Flyers would go on an 11-0 run to make things hairy cutting the deficit to 44-27. Bagley would get to within 15 points in the second half but the slow start early from the Flyers going down 16-0 right out of the gate would prove to be the difference as Fertile-Beltrami wins 59-39.

With the win, Fertile-Beltrami is now 5-4 and will play at Warren-Alvarado-Oslo on Friday. Bagley falls to 4-4 and will play at Clearbrook-Gonvick on Thursday.
