The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds won their 3rd game in a row with a 49-39 victory over Fertile Beltrami.  The Thunderbirds were able to use offensive rebounds for 2nd chance opportunities, and were also able to connect on some 3 pointers throughout the game.  Fertile Beltrami would make a couple of runs to keep it close but couldnt make enough shots down the stretch to ever take a lead.  With the Win Mahnomen Waubun is now 4-6 while Fertile Beltrami falls to 6-7.
