Buxton City Council Meets Tonight, Fresh Off Budget Workshop
The Buxton City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council is fresh off a special meeting last Wednesday, focused on reviewing the 2025 budget. As was expected, the budget remains largely unchanged, with the exception of the absorption of the city’s park board. Even with that adjustment, Mayor Travis Soderberg says that the absorption shouldn’t affect how residents see their taxes.
Among the key projects for next year’s budget are fencing installations at the city’s lagoon and a separate pickleball court in the park.
The regular monthly meeting for the Buxton City Council is scheduled for tonight at 7 at the Buxton Fire Hall.
