TOWER CITY, ND – Maple River improved to 2-0 on the season with a 62-52 win over Oak Grover in girls basketball on Thursday night.

Maple River freshman guard Violet Richman paced all scores with four three-pointers and finished with 22 points. BriElle Killoran added 15 points and 7 rebounds. The Raiders return to the court on Tuesday against Enderlin at the Barnes County Basketball Tournament. You can watch the tournament on yourliveevent.com.

Hailey Neumann paced Oak Grove with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Grovers drop to 0-2 on the year and will return to the court on Tuesday, December 17 for a Region 1 contest against Valley City in Fargo.
