Two Injured In Crash Near Thompson

Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon east of Thompson.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a truck driven by 35-year-old Lee Snell of Pueblo, Colorado was northbound on 11th Street NE, south of the intersection of 7th Street NE, and was slowing down to turn left….when it was rear-ended by a semi driven by 23-year-old Andrew Chapman of Grand Forks.  Neither driver was injured, but two passengers in Snell’s truck—22-year-old Noah Frawley of Monument, Colorado and 36-year-old Matthew Montoya of Colorado Springs, Colorado—were both taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with injuries.  The accident happened around 1:45 Friday afternoon.
