Breast Cancer Awareness Month serves as a great reminder on how important early detection is when it comes to cancer and other illnesses and diseases. While breast cancer is the focus of October Norman Mahnomen Public Health reminds you to take precautionary steps so that you can detect all illnesses and disease early. Tammy Carlsrud of Norman Mahnomen Public Health tells us some of the things you should do to catch certain diseases early. 

Carlsrud says there are also certain things that people of a certain sex should do when it comes to early disease detection as well.
