Fall FSA Reminders
Area farmers are busy with the full harvest at this time, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t start getting their post harvest plans nailed down. Norman County FSA officer James Kruize reminds producers planting fall seeded crops to get their acreage reports in.
If you’re a producer looking to do some projects post harvest, Kruize says that you should notify FSA to be sure that you are USDA compliant.
Finally, if you’re looking to change farm records, Kruize says that you should report them to FSA, and he explains why.
The full conversation with James Kruize can be heard online at rjbroadcasting.com under the Kaleidoscope program.
