Hallock, MN — The Kittson County Central Bearcats flexed their muscles as the West Sub-Section #1 Seed on Friday night, as they defeated the Red Lake Falls Eagles 3-0.

Set one remained close for a little over halfway through until KCC would take a 15-11 lead forcing Red Lake Falls Eagles Coach Nikki Gullingsrud to take a timeout. Coming out of the break it was all Kittson County Central as they would go on a 10-3 run and take the opening set 25-14. The momentum from the opener carried over into the second game as Kittson County Central would take care of business winning 25-6. Red Lake Falls would give it their best effort in set three with their backs against the wall. But the Bearcats were too much for the Eagles to handle winning the final game 25-17 and the match 3-0.

Kittson County Central is now 26-4 on the season and will play the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons in the Section 8A Semifinals. For Red Lake Falls, they end their season with an 18-11 record and graduate two Seniors. Elizabeth Lytle and Wendy Zenteno.
