Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons handily beat the Park Christian Falcons 60-18 in the Semi-Final Round of the Section 6 9-Man Football Playoffs on Saturday afternoon.

Park Christian was able to move the football at a decent clip during their first two possessions of the game but they turned the ball over on those drives giving the high powered Fertile-Beltrami offense excellent field position. Fertile-Beltrami would score touchdowns on 9 of 10 drives during the game, with the one being a punt to start the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach. Falcons Running Back Isaiah Wright would carry the football for over 200 yards in the game and 4 touchdowns. Wide Receiver Bryer Strem would rack up over 200 all-purpose yards and fid the endzone five separate times and Junior Quarterback Gavin Aakus, who was making his first career varsity start, threw for over 140 yards and two touchdowns in the 60-18 win.

Fertile-Beltrami is now 9-0 and will play for their fourth consecutive section championship next Thursday versus the Fosston Greyhounds. Park Christian ends their season at 5-5 overall and graduate just three seniors.
