Polk County West at Mahnomen/Waubun

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds got off to a fast start and kept their foot on the gas enroute to a 43-0 win over Polk County West in the Section 8A semi finals.  The Thunderbirds were able to take advantage of Thunder errors resulting in scores on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.  PCW did put together some drives but could not find the end zone.  WIth the win Mahnomen Waubun is now 9-0 and will play for the Section 8A title on THursday, while PCW ends their season at 4-6.
