GBB Rothsay at Ada-Borup-West

The Ada-Borup-West Cougars extended their winning streak to three games with a 49-41 win over the Rothsay Tigers. The offenses for both teams started cold struggling to hit shots. Eventually a pair of Rothsay 3-pointers pushed their lead to eight with 90 seconds left in the half before the Cougars quickly scored seven straight to end the half and only trail 20-19 at halftime. In the second half the Cougars again went on a scoring run, scoring 17 straight over a five minute stretch to lead 36-26 with 11:40 remaining. From there neither team could find an advantage to their cut into, or grow the lead with the Cougars ending on top 49-41 as the final horn sounded.
