Christmas Bird Count at Rydell and Glacial Ridge National Wildlife Refuges

Rydell and Glacial Ridge National Wildlife Refuges will be hosting their 10th Annual Christmas Bird Count on Thursday, December 19th, and they’re looking for volunteers to help out with the count. Refuge Manager Gregg Knutsen tells us more about the Bird Count and its significance. 

Knutsen also explained what they will be asking of participants, and what the day will look like. 

Knutsen says inexperienced birders are also invited to participate in the Bird Count, and he says it’s also a great way to get into the hobby.
