The Fosston Greyhounds jumped out to an 8-0 lead and never trailed as they defeated the Bagley Flyers 71-42 Thursday night in Fosston. Will Christen led the Greyhounds with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Ryne Duppong scored 13 points, Mitchell Mulry 11 points and Jack Sekely came off the bench to add 10 points for Fosston as the Greyhounds improve to 5-4 overall and 5-2 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Jackson Kaiser led Bagley with 23 points and 10 rebounds as the Flyers fall to 3-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference. It was the second win for Fosston over Bagley as the Greyhounds won at Bagley 67-46 on December 2nd. The Greyhounds outrebounded the Flyers 37-20 and held a big edge under the offensive boards. Fosston won the “B” Squad game 44-36. The Greyhounds will return to action on Tuesday, January 14th when they travel to Blackduck to take on the Drakes while the Flyers will play their next game on Monday, January 13th when they host the Climax/Fisher Knights as part of a doubleheader.
