After a see-saw first quarter, Northern Cass went on a 10-0 run to start the second quarter and rolled to a 69-41 victory over Richland Monday night at Northern Cass.  That’s the sixth straight win for the Jaguars and 11th straight loss for the Colts.

Brooks Crockett came off the bench to score 12 points to lead Northern Cass (7-2), with teammates Hudson Rietschel, Trey Husar and Keelan Monson scoring 10 apiece.

Richland trailed by 12-11 at the end of the first quarter…but the Colts began having trouble with turnovers, committing 17 in all and 15 after the first quarter.  Northern Cass committed just 5 turnovers all night.  Richland out-rebounded the Jaguars 32-30, with Northern Cass having the edge in offensive rebounds 11-6.  At the free throw line, Northern Cass made 7 of 18; Richland was 4 of 7.

Owen Sayler had 17 points to lead the Colts (0-11) with teammate Dillon Beito adding 11.

Northern Cass hosts Lisbon Tuesday night in a Class A Region 1 encounter.  Richland travels to Wyndmere/Lidgerwood on Thursday.
