Ada-Borup-West at Mahnomen/Waubun

It was an overtime thriller in Waubun as the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds both built and had an 8 point lead, and also trailed by 7 in the 2nd half, but with a couple of big shots in the extra session and some free throws the Thunderbirds got the win over Ada-Borup-West 58-56.  Both teams had key turnovers in certain parts of the game which resulted in easy points on the other end.  The Cougars dominated the boards out rebounding the Thunderbirds 41-26, but also struggled with turnovers throughout the game.  Mahnomen Waubun was aggressive to the basket and got some key rebounds and putbacks which was the difference in the end.  Mahnomen Waubun is now 8-8 on the year while Ada-Borup-West falls to 8-6.
