FIRST Robotics kicking off 2025 season 

More and more schools across Minnesota are adopting robotics as an affiliated activity, and for those competing in FIRST Robotics their season will be kicking off soon. While FIRST has been around for over 30 years, many communities with FIRST schools and teams are unaware of what the league is and how it operates. FIRST Regional Director Nicole Schossow explains what FIRST Robotics is and the overall goal of the organization. 

For robotics Teams in the Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference their competition will be in Ashby next weekend for what’s called Week Zero, and the robotics season will run through early April. Schossow gives us a preview of this year’s FIRST season, and she tells us some things that are new this year.
