TOWER CITY, ND – Maple River closed out their regular-season portion of the schedule with a 53-39 win over LaMoure-Litchville/Marion in Division B boys basketball on Tuesday night.

Maple River senior Carter Baasch surpassed 1,000 career points and finished with a game-high 18 points. The Raiders (11-8 overall) open the District 1 Tournament quarterfinals on Friday, February 28 against Wyndmere-Lidgerwood.

Colby Thielges finished with 14 points in the loss for the Loboes. LaMoure-Litchville/Marion (11-6 overall) travels to Oakes on Thursday.
