Who is soon to be Mahnomen Superintendent Dr Andrea Simon? 

Earlier this month it was announced that Waubun Assistant Principal Dr Andrea Simon would be the next Superintendent of the Mahnomen School District. To introduce herself to the Mahnomen Community R&J News caught up with Dr Simon who tells us more about herself and her background in education. 

Simon also explains why she wanted the Superintendent job in Mahnomen when it opened. 

While she won’t officially step into the job until after the school year, Dr Simon says she has begun working with the Mahnomen School Board about the future, and she lays out some of the early goals she has for next school year.
