FARGO, ND – Central Cass defeated Northern Cass 57-46 in the 3rd place game of the Region 1 Boys Basketball Tournament on Wednesday.

The Squirrels advanced to a state qualifier on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the SHAC in Fargo. They’ll play the loser of the Region 2 championship game between Devils Lake and Thompson. You can listen to the game on yourliveevent.com.

Kash Lorenz scored 19 points and made 3 three-pointers for the freshman guard while Easton Holland added another 14 points for Central Cass.

Hudson Rietschel paced Northern Cass with 17 points. The Jaguars season the season 15-9 overall.
