The Twin Valley City is looking to crack down on blight in 2025. At their council meeting on Monday night, the Twin Valley City Council had lengthy discussions on nuisance issues they would like to see cleaned up ahead of the all city cleanup on April 24. Twin Valley Mayor Mike Bolton says this year the city will be cracking down on nuisance properties and vehicles, and he asks that residents do their part in keeping the city clean.

Bolton also gave an update on the water and sewer project that will be resuming soon, after having to pause the project for the winter.

Lastly, Bolton says the city is still looking for people to join the fire department, and he encourages people interested to reach out to city hall.

Other agenda items included a tobacco license request for Dollar General, committee appointments, and the purchase of a coffee maker for the Twin Valley Community Center.
