Pelican Rapids vs. Barnesville

The Pelican Rapids Vikings outlasted the Barnesville Trojans in the Section 8AA Championship game, making it back to back Section titles for Pelican Rapids.  The first half featured 10 lead changes, and then four more in the second half.  Barnesville would lead by as many as 9 points in the first half, but trailed at halftime 40-38.  The Trojans would again have a lead of 7 points in the second half, only to see the Vikings come back and earn the lead with just under four minutes to play.  The lead was three points with 8 seconds to play, and a Gannon Bolgrean shot to tie the game was long, and the Vikings make it two in a row, and win 59-56 over Barnesville to bring home the 8AA Title.
