Senate DFL Leaders Announce Bonding Bill Target
One of the big questions coming out of this year’s legislative session is whether or not the state will be getting a bonding bill this year. Yesterday during a press conference Senate DFL Leaders announced their 2025 Bonding Bill Target which sees over $1.3 billion spent. Rep. Sandy Pappas (D-St Paul) speaks on the importance of getting a bonding bill passed this year.
The targeted Bonding Bill is supported by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities, and CGMC Executive Director Bradley Peterson talked more about the need for water projects in the bill.
Types of projects that could be considered in this bonding bill include a new building for the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in Mankato, local water projects, rural healthcare projects, and more.
