Hawley City Council seeking public feedback for tobacco and cannabis ordinances 

The Hawley City Council had a lengthy discussion about a tobacco and cannabis ordinance at their meeting on Monday. Hawley City Administrator Lonnie Neuner tells us more about the discussion, and what’s next in the ordinance adoption process. 

Neuner says the city council also had a discussion about the school resource officer position, which was opened after Scott Steer was promoted to Hawley Police Chief. 

Spring is also a time when construction work gets started or resumes, and Neuner tells us what the City of Hawley has coming up for construction projects this year. 

The Hawley City Council will meet next on Monday, May 19.
