Legislative Update with Minnesota Senator Rob Kupec 

The Minnesota Legislature is in the final leg of the Legislative Session, and lawmakers still have a lot of work to do before the end of session. Senator Rob Kupec (DFL-Moorhead) says the main focus for the senate is getting budget bills passed, and he says this year’s budget discussions in the Senate are very different from the Minnesota House. 

Kupec says one thing he will be working on over the coming weeks, is having discussions about legislation that would help fix some issues he has with Teacher Pensions. 

One of Senator Kupec’s other goals for the session was to get work done in  broadband infrastructure, and Kupec tells us more about some work he’s been able to get done there.
