CASSELTON, ND – Hillsboro/Central Valley earned a spot in the Region 2 championship game following a 13-4 over Larimore on Thursday night.

Riley Richter finished a complete-game giving up 4 runs (1 earned) on 10 hits, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts for the Burros. Chase Haffely hit a 3-run homer in the top of the first inning as HCV never trailed in the contest and finished 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 4 RBI.

Hillsboro/Central Valley will play Thompson in the region title at 1 p.m. from Mayville State on yourliveevent.com.
