People reminded to not blow lawn clipping into street
Rain is expected to be in the forecast over the next couple days, and this means that homeowners will likely be breaking their lawnmowers out for the remainder of the spring and summer months. However, residents are reminded to make sure their grass clippings aren’t blown into the street. Ada Public Works Director Brian Rasmussen explains why.
Grass clippings in the street can also be a safety risk for motorcyclists and bikers as the lawn clippings can make the roads slick. People with questions about the rule can contact the Ada Public Works office.
