6AA Elimination #9 Holdingford vs. #6 Pequot Lakes

The 2025 season came to an end for the Pequot Lakes Patriots in a 5-4 loss to 9th seeded Holdingford in the 6AA tournament. After two scoreless innings, the upset-minded Huskers built a 5-1 lead with two runs in the third and three in the fourth. Four of the runs were scored with two outs in the inning.

The Patriots rallied for three in the bottom of the fifth to get with one, but stranded the tying run at third then did not score in the sixth after loading the bases with only one out.

With one last chance, the Patriots went down in order in the seventh and Holdingford celebrated the victory.

The Patriots finish the year 11-12 and will graduate just one senior from the team.
