Lakes Area Yes Network teaching kids valuable life lessons 

Starting today, over 200 area students will be taking advantage of the free Lakes Area Yes Network (LAYN) Summer Program, and learning life skills that will stick with them for the rest of their lives. LAYN Program Director Mike Labine tells us more about the program. 

Labine says one of the many goals of this program is to help kids connect with each other, and learn valuable life skills that are becoming harder to learn in the age of the internet, and social media. 

Labine says this isn’t just a program that helps kids, as the LAYN Summer Program also gives job opportunities to teens in the areas they serve.
