Halstad City Council Meets

HALSTAD, MN—The Landmark Center in Halstad was brought up twice at Monday night’s City Council meeting.  Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson says the first instance was about cleaning up the former Norman County West School.

Johnson says pictures of the items they can salvage will be posted on the Landmark Center’s Facebook page….and perhaps the City of Halstad’s Facebook page, as well.

The second matter with the Landmark Center involved getting a grant to lower energy costs for the building.

The grant Halstad is applying for is a State of Minnesota grant called CERTS: Clean Energy Resource Teams.
