Ulen Hitterdal hires new Dean of Students 

The Ulen Hitterdal School Board approved a number of hirings, and resignations at their board meeting on Wednesday night. Ulen Hitterdal Superintendent Dustin Flaten walks us through the staffing changes, which includes the hiring of a new Dean of Students. 

Flaten says the school board also approved a proposal for SRO services for the 2025/2026 school year, as well as a revised 2024/2025 budget. 

If you’ve driven by the school lately, you’d notice some construction work being done, and Flaten says their construction projects are progressing well. 

Other agenda items included administrative reports, and an approval with Detroit Lakes Public Schools for adult education services.
