Detroit Lakes Water Carnival kicks off Friday 

Independence Day weekend has passed, which means the Detroit Lakes Jaycee’s 89th Annual Northwest Water Carnival kicks off on Friday. April Asleson of the Detroit Lakes Jaycees previews some of the activities they have planned for the carnival’s opening weekend.
