Polk County Sheriff shares reminders for Polk County Fair attendees 

The Polk County Fair is underway in Fertile, and while fairs are an excellent way to experience summer fun, it can also be stressful for parents with younger children. Polk County Sheriff Jim Tadman shares some reminders for parents, so they can keep their child safe during the fair, and other public events. 

Tadman says there are things you should do before leaving for the fair that can help law enforcement if your child does get lost. 

If you do lose your child at the fair, get in contact with a Polk County Fair representative, or one of the  law enforcement officers patrolling the fairgrounds.
