Mahnomen School Board meets 

The Mahnomen School Board held their first meeting under a new schedule on Monday night. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon reminds people about the change in the school board schedule, and she also explains how people can access board agendas moving forward. 

As for board items, Simon says the board approved some staffing updates, and she also highlights some positions they’re still looking to fill. 

Simon says the board also had discussions about some school policies. 

Lastly, Simon gave an update on the Mahnomen facility upgrade project, which is supposed to be completed by the start of school. 

The Mahnomen School Board will meet next on Monday, August 15.
