Warroad vs. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton continued their offensive surge with a 16-1 win over Warroad in the Northwest Division 2 Sub-State championship game in Crookston. After trailing Thief River Falls 9-1 in the sixth inning of an elimination game, D-G-F went on to score a whopping 41 runs in the next 11 innings they were at the plate. D-G-F had to defeat Warroad twice to win the title and they outscored Warroad by a combined 32-3 in the two championship games. Not only did D-G-F hit the ball but they didn’t commit an error in either game against Warroad. D-G-F scored 16 runs on 14 hits and committed no errors while Warroad scored 1 run on 5 hits and committed 6 errors. D-G-F will play Luverne (Southwest Sub-State Champions) at 12:30 Thursday, July 31st in the State Quarterfinals at Ely.
