Erskine, MN – The Thief River Falls Prowlers swept the Win-E-Mac Patriots 3-0 on Thursday night, improving their season record to 8-2.

The Prowlers controlled the tempo from the start, jumping out to a 7-1 lead in the opening set. Win-E-Mac called a timeout trailing 20-11, but Thief River Falls closed strong to take the set 25-12.

Set two followed a similar script. The Prowlers built an 8-4 advantage, then used a dominant scoring run to extend their lead to 17-6 before finishing the set 25-10 and taking a 2-0 match lead.

The third set was all but sealed early as Thief River Falls rattled off 14 straight service points to open play. Win-E-Mac battled back to reach double digits but ultimately fell 25-14.

With the victory, Thief River Falls moves to 8-2 and now turns its attention to tournament play in Hawley this weekend. Win-E-Mac, now 1-6, has dropped six straight and looks to bounce back with three matches next week, beginning with a road trip to Warren-Alvarado-Oslo.
