VB Win-E-Mac at Bagley

The Bagley Flyers overcame 14 service errors to defeat the Win-E-Mac Patriots 3-0 (25-22, 27-25 & 25-17) at Bagley on Tuesday night. The Flyers trailed 24-21 in the second set but rallied to win 27-25 to take a 2-0 lead in the match. Mazie Hoie had 11 kills and McKalyn Hoie added 10 kills for Bagley as they improve to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Kaley Thompson added 5 kills for Bagley. Macie Haskett and Adara Peterson each had 5 kills for Win-E-Mac as the Patriots fall to 3-12 overall and 1-4 in the conference. Lauren Kaupang had 4 kills and 2 service aces for the Patriots. Both teams were coming off wins on Monday night with Bagley winning at Red Lake County Central and Win-E-Mac winning at home over Crookston. The Flyers will return to action on Thursday, October 2nd when they travel to Fosston (96.7 FM). The Patriots will also play their next match on Thursday when they host Climax/Fisher (1480-AM/99.7 FM). Bagley won the “B” Squad match 2-0 (25-11 & 25-14). Bagley also won the “C” Squad match 2-0 (25-22 & 25-13).
