Devils Lake eliminated Kindred in the State Legion Tournament on Sunday afternoon from Casselton.

Will Heilman pitched 6 innings, gave up 5 runs (2 earned) with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts in the win and Fausten Olson went 1-2 with 1 run scored and 2 walks for Devils Lake.

The Storm await their opponent on Monday, following the conclusion of the Fargo Jets and Casselton Haymakers game that was suspended due to weather. Fargo leads Casselton 4-2 in the top of the fifth inning and is scheduled to be resumed on Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Winner plays Devils Lake following the conclusion of the Fargo/Casselton contest.
