THe Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds scored early and often with their reserves playing the entire game enroute to a 48-0 win over Red Lake.  The Thunderbirds rested their starters giving the backups a chance for extended playing time and a chance to build some depth.  Offensively and Defensively Mahnomen Waubun played well shutting down the Red Lake offense down and holding them to 6 yards of total offense.  With the win Mahnomen Waubun is 3-0 while Red Lake falls to 0-3.
