Catholic Schools Concerned About Security

Security is not only a concern at public schools in Minnesota, but also at Catholic schools.  Bishop Andrew Cozzens of the Crookston Diocese says Catholic bishops will be increasing their efforts to get funding for security when the next Minnesota Legislative session begins in January.

Bishop Cozzens says Catholic schools have help, but not enough to get a school resource officer.

Cozzens says he celebrated school Masses at Annunciation School in Minneapolis several times.  Annunciation was where Wednesday’s shooting took place, with two children killed and 17 people wounded.
