Special Fertile City Council Meeting
FERTILE, MN—The Fertile City Council held a special meeting Monday night to settle several issues. Fertile Mayor Brian Nephew says one of those was hiring a new city attorney.
Council members Mary Keifert, Amanda Bosman and Eileen Todahl voted to hire Cynthia Kirchoff as city attorney.
It was also revealed at Monday’s meeting there was a setback in the search for a new administrator for the City-owned Fair Meadow Nursing Home.
Also on Monday, the Fertile City Council established December 15 at 6:30pm as the time for its annual budget hearing. And the Council filed notice that it would re-define what a restaurant is at its October meeting.
