Cattle backgrounding recommendations 

Cattle Producers in the area are approaching the time of year, where they start to focus more on the supplements they are giving their calves, so that they can develop properly through the fall and winter. Bruce Winter of Purina Feed tells us what they’re recommending to area producers. 

A question many producers are asking is whether they should background their calf before bringing it to market, and Winter explains why he thinks you should.
