Sophomore quarterback Noah Martinson ran for two touchdowns as the Fosston Greyhounds advanced in the Section 6 Nine-Man playoffs with a 32-16 win over Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal at Fosston. Jakob Rudie scored on a 53 yard run and Brydin Daniel scored on a 33 yard run as Fosston improved to 6-3 overall. Hayden Haspel connected with Axel Kjono for a 23 yard touchdown pass and Kjono also scored on a 7 yard run as the Titans end their season at 1-8. Rudie carried the ball 9 times for 103 yards and touchdown for Fosston. The Greyhounds defeated the Titans 37-8 in Fosston on August 28th. The Greyhounds will travel to Clearbrook-Gonvick on Saturday, October 25th to play the Bears (2:00 pm on 96.7 FM). Clearbrook-Gonvick defeated Fosston 32-28 on October 10th at Clearbrook-Gonvick.
